Teaching the Practical Cost of Quality. Beyond the Theory!

In manufacturing company, every defect carries a hidden cost, and most of it goes unnoticed until it’s too late.

That’s why, under the quality module learning, I’ve developed a demo version for learning of the Cost of Quality (CoQ) dashboard, fully integrated into the OEE system, linking quality performance directly to overall equipment effectiveness, KPI, TPM, Lean, and financial impact.

Recently, I walked students through a full breakdown of CoQ, not just slides or notes, but real dashboards and case-based analysis.

We explored 6 practical modules:
1. Quality in Real Industry
2. Pareto Analysis - 80/20 Principle
3. Fishbone Diagram - 6M
4. Control Chart for Process Stability
5. OEE Intercorrelation
6. 7 QC Tools

💡 Students learn from demo dashboard to understand how small issues, like minor defects, can lead to major cost impacts.

This is how we prepare them for the real world:
Not just with tools and theory, but with practical insight that connects quality to business value.

Connecting Theory & Practice.
